Steeve Duchesne
Co-founder and president
Role: Head of Development and Business Strategies, of Mergers and Acquisitions and of Partner Relations.
Experience: Before founding AXON, he was a business architect at the Laurentian Bank of Canada for six years. In this position, he oversaw the development and implementation of critical software for bank applications and participated in system integration projects after the acquisition of a firm. Beforehand, he was the deputy director of the information technology service of La Financière Prêt et Épargne and of Caisses d’Entraide Économique, where he was responsible for the strategy of system evolution, for the development team and the implementation of new banking products.
Training: B.Sc. in Information Technology Management from the Université Laval; Masters in Project Management from the Université du Quebec in Chicoutimi. Professional activities: he is an active member of the Board of Directors of the Association Québécoise des Technologies (AQT), the most important group of technology organizations in Quebec with more than 300 member firms.
 
Serge Thiboutot
Co-Founder, Partner and Vice President, Research and Development
Role: Head of technologies and main architect
Experience: Thirty years in technological architecture. Serge worked almost exclusively in the financial sector. Analyst/advisor, then architect at the Confédération des Caisses Desjardins, he designed systems for VISA Desjardins, then at the Laurentian Bank of Canada. Since 1998, he has shared his expertise, his technological depth, and his mastery of organizational challenges with AXON's clients.
Training: Certificate in Information Technology Management from the University of Montreal.
 
Yvan Bolduc
Partner and Vice President, Operations
Role: Head of client services and of the management of human resources.
Experience: From 1984 to 1999, he held several senior positions in the information technologies sector of the Laurentian Bank of Canada. He oversaw the development of administrative systems and bank software, and successfully directed major projects. He was also Associate Vice President in charge of planning and organizational improvements and, in 1999, Associate Vice President, Electronic Services Development (teller, VISA and Internet). In 2000, he was involved in the start-up of a firm specializing in client relations management systems (Customer Relationship Manager). Yvan became a partner of AXON in 2001.
Training: BS in Computer Science from the University of Sherbrooke.
 
François Bonetto
Partner and General Director
Role: Head of Administrative Services, Finance, and Accounting.
Experience: François has a passion for IT and distinguishes himself by his versatility. In addition to his experience in the financial sector of the Desjardins Federation, he directed numerous projects in the HEC education and software industry sectors at Accovia Ergonet and BCE Emergis. He also founded Nomade Télécom before becoming a partner at AXON in 2006.
Training: Diploma in higher studies in Administration (DSA) from HEC Montréal, BS in Computer Science from the University of Sherbrooke.
 
June Tang
Vice President, Business Development
Role: Head of Business Development and of organic growth, planning and implementation of sales strategies
Experience: June has more than 20 years experience in Sales, Marketing, and B2B and B2C management positions. Before joining AXON in 2007, she was the head business director of Marcus Evans and greatly contributed to the development of business in this firm, which specializes in the organization of events and conferences for large firms. She also directed her own marketing research services firm, carrying out market studies, surveys and databases for national and international clients like L'Oréal, Rockwell Collins and Tenzing Communication (now OnAir).
Training: MBA from the Heriot-Watt University of Edinburgh (in process), Law baccalaureate from the University of Montreal, baccalaureate in Commerce from Concordia University
 
Paul Martineau
Vice President, Finances

Role : Responsible for finances
Experience : With more than twenty years of experience in financial and strategic management, Paul worked for many national and international organizations, holding executive functions in various industries such as manufacturing,  research & development and IT. He was part of many projects of financing and strategic development, mergers, acquisitions and sales of companies as well as equity and debt financing.
Training : Executive MBA from Dauphine University in Paris, International finances MBA from UQAM, baccalaureate in business administration from UQAM.  Paul is also a Certified Cash Manager/Certified Treasury Executive
